What is in the Box?

Books, Essential Oils and Tools

Plant Language Aromatherapy is a study course package. It is available in two versions, the Classic, or, if you will, the Platinum version and an economy thrift version. Both convey absolutely the same information. The difference lies in how the information is presented and also the add-ons in the Classic version.

The Classic version consists of three books, requisite rare and precious authentic essential oils, aromatherapy tools like pipettes, smell strips etc. and a presentation CD containing Powerpoint/Keynote presentations including all images.

The Economy version consists of the “Healing Intelligence of Essential Oils” and the Essential Oil Collections 1 and 2. “The Healing Intelligence of Essential Oils” contains all the information presented in the Books 1, 2 and 3 of the Classic version. The book is basically a re-edit of the original, classic Plant Language Course to put the information in book rather than course form. The Journey elements in Healing Intelligence cover exactly the same oils as the Journeys in the classic version. The student is guided through the same experiences as in the Classic version.

The Economy Version

consists of “The Healing Intelligence of Essential Oils” as textbook and the Essential Oil Collections 1 and 2 (see further down: Collections) to experience the oils and to be able to gather the guided experiences (see further down: Journeys).

The Platinum Version

Book 1: The Reader

is the main text of Plant Language. It offers a critical analysis of past and present aromatherapy resolving old arguments over internal and undiluted use of essential oils. It discusses the diverse treatment strategies arising from different styles of aromatherapy. It culminates with a synthesis of the fascinating biological concepts of organicism – the evolution of plants and their secondary metabolites and non-selective activity of natural mixtures – to support the argument for much wider therapeutic activity of essential oils than hitherto recognized.

Book 2: Protocols and Recipes

features recipes:

  • Easy to make multi purpose recipes from naturopathic practice for many common ailments for simple “out of the bottle” uses. It includes detailed sections addressing the emost important practical questions of which oils can be used internally, topically or both. Which oils can be used neat and which need to be diluted.
  • A detailed collection of essential oil synergies to treat side effects of chemo-, interferon-, radiation- and other cancer therapies.
  • Supporting treatments of Hepatitis B and C and ideas for preventing UV damage and Melanoma.

Book 3: Essential Oil Journeys

is an illustrated guide to the cultures which bring us essential oils, combined with suggestions for relaxed every day uses. Oils are explored to develop a “feel” for biological aromatherapy phenomena, for instance a Lavender hybrid induces different sensations and physiological responses than population or wild Lavender. The variations in sensation and effect of the most healing chemotypes of Thyme are explored as well as the real or imagined difference between Bosnian and Corsican Helichrysum and much more.

The playful exercises build familiarity and confidence with essential oils so we can rely on them when we really need them.

Essential Oil Collections 1 and 2, the Authentic Apothecary

The two collections include a total of fifty authentic essential oils (listed on the EO Collections page) of the most distinguished provenance.
The oils are used in the exercises of the Essential Oil Journeys. They represent the centerpiece of the Plant Language Course as they allow the student to safely explore the various forms of applications and experience the different sensations specific oils elicit. In addition most of the in the remedies listed in Protocols and Recipes can also be formulated with the oils of the Collections. Simultaneously they illustrate the biological and evolutionary phenomena discussed in the Reader. .
